WHO ARE WE?
The Alberta TRA represents everyone who lives in the the Alberta Estate Area. Anyone can get involved whether a council or private tenant, leaseholder, or freeholder.
WHAT IS THE ALBERTA ESTATE AREA?
Currently the Alberta Estate Area includes all properties whether Council, rented, or privately owned on Alberta St and Ambergate St, and some blocks on Berryfield and Tarver Rd. those blocks shown on the map here. In 2019 we will be incorporating Berryfield Rd, Tarver Rd and parts of Braganza Street. Click on the map to view the boundaries on Google maps.
OUR AIMS
We are the listening ear to those who may be worried about security, parking or crime, have issues with fly tipping or may simply want to make a suggestion on how best to improve the area they live in. At the TRA we have applied for numerous improvement grants, and funding to improve the area. We hold regular meetings & events including drop in sessions, and gardening sessions.
The TRA was set up to ensure the area is a great place to live and is there to help and assist when thing may not quite be right. Please note we are not your first port of call for repairs for your property to the council. However, if the council are being slow in getting back to you on a repair or anything else, do let us know and we can offer help and direct you to the relevant party. Alternatively, if you can think of a project for the estate that would help to improve it then please do get in touch with us we would love to hear from you.
